Bespoke cabinetry for maximum space and storage.
For the offices of building company Gregg Architectural Builders, the exquisite use of timber and built-in cabinetry showcases their care in design and building craft. Designed by Angelique Armstrong of Armstrong Interiors, the bespoke fit-out features HIMACS Whinstone benchtops, Laminex Timber Veneer, and ultra-matt Alucci panels. ‘With only 40 square metres to work with, we had to maximise the use of space and allow for the review and storage of large architectural drawings,’ says Angelique.
Reflecting the Christchurch company's brand colour palette, Angelique specified Laminex's White Oak Crown Cut to establish a warm gold throughout, with accents in black and white. HIMACS Whinstone wraps the reception desk in a soft, fluid edge, and recessed white shelves in Alucci glow like lanterns in the floor-to-ceiling storage wall. The two private offices continue the theme with storage on three walls floodlit with the new skylights above, while the kitchen features HIMACS Whinstone and Alucci Black matte for a moody and sophisticated breakout space.
