HIMACS is non-porous, silica free, and now available in a 20mm thickness in Alpine White; making it easier and affordable to achieve a 20mm thick acrylic solid surface benchtop. In addition, the new 3100 x 930mm size is well suited to kiwi homes, as the increased width reduces the need for joins on a large island bench.
A warm and tactile surface, HIMACS is forgiving, whilst also being extremely hygienic and easy to clean. Inconspicuous joins make the benchtop appear seamless, which combined with it's non-porous properties means there is no surface texture or crevices for bacteria to hide in.
Naturally silica free, HIMACS is made from material extracted from the natural mineral Bauxite, which is a by-product of aluminium manufacturing. HIMACS is low maintenance and can be repaired and resurfaced on site by a trained professional.
